The thicker, the better. But! If the question is about optimal quality and price, then you need to look at the intensity of welding work on the table.
4 mm steel is suitable for assembly work on the table, with a minimum amount of welding.
6 mm steel for more intensive welding, but still not industrial volumes.
8 mm steel and thicker, for welders working in 2 shifts on one table.

What is the load on the welding table when moving?
On top of the table you can transport a structure weighing up to 250 kg. But if your work requires a greater load, then we will install other wheels, and the load will be up to 1000 kg.
